AFTC Phase 2

For the creation of the Ambassadors Football Training Centre (AFTC), we partnered with the International Christian Centre (ICC), a local church to bring the vision to reality. ICC has contributed land on the grounds of their Imara church property through a long-term memorandum of understanding (MOU) for the creation of the AFTC.

This MOU designates space for the construction of two rooftop pitches on the property’s Connection Centre building. This is Phase 1 of the project and will fully operational in October of 2017. The MOU also provides for land where a full size lighted turf football pitch will be built near Mombasa Road. This is Phase 2 of the project and will be constructed after sufficient funds have been raised.

Through the AFTC we believe that the ongoing work of Ambassadors Football in Kenya will be sustainable and equipped to grow its influence in the country and region of East Africa well into the future. Ambassadors has the experience globally and specifically in Kenya to have a powerful impact in the lives of thousands of people each year, utilizing the gift of football outreach, and we hope that you will partner with us through this worthy opportunity.

Join Us – Phase 2: Full Size Lighted Turf Pitch

Ambassadors Football is now actively raising funds for the development of Phase 2 and would like to invite you to join us for this journey together.

To complete Phase 2 of the AFTC, we will need to raise funds for total field development of $585,000 US.

The goal is to raise these funds by mid-2018 for completion by the end of 2018.

Ideally, we are looking for a team that would include:

  • Individual supporters providing $285,000
  • 4-6 institutions providing the additional $300,000

Obviously we welcome any and all donations in any amount that helps to move us closer to the completion goal.

Ambassadors Football has a registered 501c3 in Cleveland, Ohio, the International Football Foundation, where you can give a tax-deductible donation or stock gift which will go directly to the AFTC project in Nairobi.
