Stephen Rigby
Stephen was born and raised in Chicago, USA where he grew to love the game of football. He played at Wheaton College in the US earning All-American honors and then continued his career in the US playing for the Cleveland City Stars in the USL 2nd Division. He came to Kenya in 2007 and played for World Hope FC (now Nairobi City Stars) in the KPL before retiring from competitive football and serving with Ambassadors Football as a missionary in football. He has completed the TREC Level 3 coaching course and has a depth of experience in football ministry in the USA and Kenya since 2004.


Steve Githendu Maina
Mr. Stephen Githendu Maina is the managing director at Kenya Weddings Ltd and holds a BSC degree in computer science from Kenyatta University. He loves working with children and has had experience as a Sunday School teacher at Nairobi Chapel.

His interest in helping out where children are involved plays a big role in supporting the vision of Ambassadors Football, as he is able to help out in our camps and clubs.


Steve Kiteto
Steve Kiteto lives to inspire positive change in people and organizations through training and coaching. He enjoys outdoor adventure experiences as natural learning and recreation spaces.

He is the founder of Badili Experience Limited; a training, coaching, and consulting company that primarily focuses on adults making the most of life stage responsibilities. The programs he is involved in through Badili Experience include Life transitions at the 30 and 40-year mark, Family development; (marriage and parenting), and organizational development; (strategy and team development).

Steve is married to Lizzie Kiteto and together they are blessed with three children.


Mwangi Gathetu
Mwangi Muthui is a disciple of Jesus, a Loving husband, a father of two amazing kids, lover of sports and adventure, and one devoted to serving God in whatever he does.

He has worked in both the church and corporate sectors. Having studied business and marketing for his undergraduate studies, he started his career running a startup and handling marketing before transitioning to Nairobi Baptist Church, where he worked for 9 years primarily with the youth, who he is extremely passionate about.

He currently works as the Nairobi City Director for Resource Global, raising a generation of Christian professionals realize their God given calling in their work. He has a master’s in biblical studies and Theology and is an ordained Minister with Nairobi Baptist Church.


Joyce Njagi
Joyce has a Career spanning 20 years mainly focusing on Child and Youth programming. Her areas of Education, skills training and experience include Organizational leadership, Strategy Execution, Change Management, Project Management, M&E, Gender and development.

Joyce is Currently serving as a Global Manager of Solutions at Compassion International , coordinating the deployment of Program Cycle Adoption in 10 countries where Compassion has operations in Africa.

Joyce serves as a Board of Trustee for the Marjorie School in Kirinyaga County. She also serves in the Leadership, Research and Material Development Centre for her local church.


Joseph Okello
Joe has extensive experience in education, entrepreneurship, business and youth development. He is a Non-Executive Director in a diversity of organizations in the education, technology, health and humanitarian sectors. He is passionate about transforming lives by creating opportunities to transform lives and to reduce inequality. He is the founder of Association of family business enterprises Kenya.
